HISTORY: Kasai Akiyama was a bright child born in Lavaridge Town. Like many children, she aspired to become a Pokemon Master at the age of ten. She was unable to embark on this adventure as soon as she would have liked, instead having to wait until she was fourteen due to her parents holding her back to finish a few more years of educational school first. Eventually, she found herself off, leaving Lavaridge with a Numel as her first Pokemon. It was not without hardships, but Kasai found herself exceptionally skilled in the art of battling, blazing through the Hoenn region's gyms before she was so much as fifteen. And then finally, as was the dream of every aspiring champion, she stood at the gates of the Pokemon League; this would be her final challenge against the elite and the victory of her journey.
Or so she thought, at least. Kasai was ruthlessly obliterated by the Elite Four, losing at the very first member, whom then went on to insult her pride and call her an inexperienced and unworthy trainer. This hurt her ego too much to attempt to re-challenge the League, and she instead went off to train her Pokemon to their maximum capacity. She stopped caring about their feelings and raised them cruelly, something that eventually reflected on her personality. It wasn't long before she didn't even care about becoming the champion anymore, soon falling into the ranks of Team Magma, a group of people that actually recognized her talent and took her in.
Through her hard work and dedication to the team, and by sticking with them even after their failure to control Groudon in Hoenn, Maxie promoted Kasai to administrator, making her one of the top leaders of the team.

Light Protection: Grunts can generally take light damage from pokemons and remain relatively unharmed. Works for moves 60 BP and under.
Bulletproof It: Grunts now have better armor, being able to take a considerable amount of damage. Works for moves 90 BP and under.
True Riot Squad: Grunts are fucking armed to the teeth and can take even some of the most wicked blows. Works for moves 120 BP and under.
Piece of Work: Grunts are carrying easily concealable light weaponry, like pistols.
Grab da' Gat: Grunts are carrying around heavy weaponry, like sub-machine guns.
Extra-Territorial Tension Suit: Uniforms are equipped to deal with harsh weather conditions, such as temperatures about a hundred degrees or below zero.
Deep Sea Diving: Uniforms are now equipped with oxygen tanks and face masks for exploring the briny deep.
Camouflage: Uniforms blend in with their environment on touch, giving grunts a more stealthy approach. |

| DIVISIONS Smuggling Division

The Smuggling Division is the sector of Team Magma that most of its grunts belong to. This division acts as a general task force along with the gathering and stealing of minerals, which ends up acting as the group's main source of revenue. The Smuggling Division performs all sorts of criminal acts; such as taking over mines, stealing precious gems and fossils, hording evolutionary stones, and selling all of the above on the black market.
Pyromancer's Division

The Pyromancer's Division is considered to be the "elite" sector of Team Magma. They are more fanatic than those in the Smuggling Division and actually believe in the goals of the team rather than just being in it for the money like a majority of the lower grunts. They are tasked with higher-risk missions such as the thievery of fire, ground, and rock Pokemon, high-scale heists, major plans, and the tracking of legendary Pokemon. They also like fire, a lot; hence their name, and often utilize arson in their efforts.
Research Division
10 devoted.
The Research Division rarely sees the field, acting as the minds behind Team Magma. They search for new ways to make money, expand the landmass, and ways to capture legendary Pokemon, though they also generally organize all of the team's missions and plans.
